Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) with Youth

We intend to conduct a systematic review of all empirical treatment studies evaluating the effects of dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) with youth using qualitative and/or quantitative outcomes. Following the systematic review, we intend to conduct a meta-analysis of the treatment effects yielded by group-design studies of DBT with youth using quantitative outcomes. The systematic review and meta-analysis will account for all types of DBT-based interventions with youth, including standard DBT, adapted DBT, and treatment packages that include DBT with other treatment components.

Using Mindfulness-based Interventions to Teach Teachers Self and Classroom-Implementation

This study aims to fill the gaps in the current mindfulness literature by educating teachers to learn self- and classroom-implementation of MBIs. The goal of this study is to 1) measure teacher and student stress outcomes to see if MBIs implemented by teachers can decrease stress 2) examine the viability of MBIs to see if they are feasible in a school setting and 3) measure teacher fidelity to mindfulness implementation in classrooms.
